Why Big Fr and Hungry Fr

1. Fr is the biggest atom because it is on the lower left of the Periodic Table. The atom size gets bigger as you go down the table and goes smaller as you go from left to right. It also has 7 valence shells. Fr has the lowest IE because it is larger, using little energy to remove an electron. This element has the lowest EN because, being the largest atom, it's nucleus has a weaker pull as valence electrons get further. Its pull, compared to Lithium for example, is much weaker because Lithium is a smaller atom with a greater pull.

2.Helium is the smallest atom because it is on the top right of the Periodic Table. As, stated before the atom size gets bigger as you go down the table and goes smaller as you go from left to right. Helium also has one shell. This element has the highest IE because it requires more energy to remove the valence electron. The valence electron in a helium atom is closer to the nucleus, meaning the pull is stronger and harder to get rid of.

3.Noble gasses do not EN values because they do not need to gain or lose atoms. They already have a full outer shell (8 valence electrons).

4. Florine has the highest EN because, excluding the noble gasses, it is on the top right of the Periodic Table, being the smallest atom. The smallest atom has the highest EN, being the most reactive nonmetal. As the table goes from the bottom left to the top right of the table, the EN increases.
